Dear Denise,
Please open your book and start reading. Mother will be terribly disappointed if she finds out about your poor studying habits. I know university is not as carefree as high school. In point of fact, it's not "caring," or "free" at all. So do all your homework because as sad as it sounds, you are paying to do them.
Look at the type gauge. Look at it! If you are not going to use it to measure those loathsome points and picas, use it to hurt yourself. A little slap on the wrist should get you moving again. Kill that stupid laziness that is overpowering you, please.
I know you are overwhelmed by the workload – who isn’t? But if you actually start working, you’ll get in the zone for sure and will actually enjoy the seemingly dislikable labour.
